Las Vegas's independent coffee scene is concentrated in the Arts District and the suburban neighborhoods — not on the Strip. These are the spots worth knowing.

Best Independent Coffee

  • PublicUs (Arts District) — Coffee, food, and community in one space. Best brunch in the city and excellent espresso. All-day hours, great Wi-Fi.
  • Vesta Coffee Roasters (multiple locations) — Las Vegas's best local roaster. The Arts District and Summerlin locations are excellent.
  • Makers & Finders (Arts District) — Colombian-influenced café with excellent empanadas. Strong espresso.
  • HEXX Kitchen + Bar (Paris Hotel) — Strip-adjacent, excellent coffee, outdoor Strip seating.
  • Mothership Coffee Roasters (Henderson) — The best specialty coffee in the valley for purists.

For Remote Workers

Casino hotels don't welcome lingering non-gamblers. For actual work: PublicUs has the best combination of food, coffee, and Wi-Fi; the Spring Valley Library and Clark County Library have free Wi-Fi and quiet working spaces; the WeWork on the Strip is expensive but functional.

Confirm current hours, prices, access, age rules, and availability with the official venue before you go.
