Las Vegas's Japanese food scene, concentrated in Chinatown and scattered across the suburbs, offers some of the best sushi in the American West — and several excellent happy hour programs that significantly discount the experience.

Best Sushi Happy Hours

  • Osaka Japanese Bistro — Daily 4:30–6:30pm happy hour. $2–4 per piece nigiri, half-price specialty rolls. Consistently ranked best sushi HH in Las Vegas.
  • Kabuto Edomae Sushi — A serious omakase restaurant that runs an abbreviated 4–6pm counter service at bar prices. Best quality per dollar in Vegas.
  • Kumi Japanese Restaurant at Mandalay Bay — Strip-side sushi with 5–7pm happy hour specials.
  • Yui Edomae Sushi — No formal happy hour but the omakase pricing at the bar is already fair.

The Chain Options (Actually Good)

Kura Revolving Sushi, now in Las Vegas, runs all plates at $3.65. It's conveyor belt sushi but the quality is legitimately high — a full meal for $25 per person.
