At 2am, Las Vegas experiences a strange transition — the tourists who started at 7pm begin to tire while the people who know the city are just arriving. Here's where to be from 2am onwards.
Still Going at 2am
- Major nightclubs (Omnia, XS, Hakkasan) — Peak energy 1–3am
- Monta Ramen — The best ramen in Las Vegas, open until 3am most nights
- Planet 13 Dispensary — 24 hours, quieter and more navigable at 2am than at 9pm
- The casino floor at any major hotel — Never closes
- Peppermill Restaurant — 24 hours, the best late-night diner experience in Vegas
The After-Hours Scene
Las Vegas's after-hours club circuit is underground but real — warehouse-style events that start after the main nightclubs close. These are promoted through social media and local DJ communities rather than mainstream channels. Follow local DJ accounts for event announcements.
The Quiet Option
For a different kind of 2am experience: the casino poker room. The Venetian's poker room after 2am has a mix of serious players, high rollers, and late-night gamblers that creates its own distinct energy. A $200 buy-in and three hours of poker is, for many people, the best Las Vegas experience of all.
