Memorial Day Vegas Deals: What Actually Goes on Sale (and What Doesn't)

Despite what you might expect, Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas offers some genuine deals — just not the ones being advertised.

Memorial Day weekend is peak pricing time at most Las Vegas establishments. Hotels, pools, and clubs are at maximum rates. But if you know where to look, genuine value still exists.

Where the Deals Actually Are

  • Downtown casinos — The Golden Nugget and Binion's don't spike prices like the Strip. Same great atmosphere, 40% cheaper.
  • Off-Strip restaurants — Chinatown and the Arts District don't do holiday pricing.
  • Tix4Tonight kiosks — Non-headliner shows (comedy, magic) go on sale at 50% off even during holiday weekends.
  • Weekday-priced convenience stores — Stock up on drinks at Walgreens before the Strip markup hits.

What to Avoid

Don't book the Strip hotel if you haven't already — you're paying triple for the same room. Don't attempt walk-up nightclub entry this weekend without a guest list or bottle service reservation. Don't try to get a last-minute Uber at 2am Friday or Saturday — the surge will be brutal.

Confirm current hours, prices, access, age rules, and availability with the official venue before you go.
