What to See and Do Between Every Major Hotel on the Strip

The spaces between hotels on the Las Vegas Strip are as interesting as the hotels themselves — free attractions, hidden bars, and street-level spectacles. Here's what's in between.

Most visitors walk past the best free things on the Las Vegas Strip without knowing they're there. The spaces between hotel entrances contain some of the city's most interesting sights. Here's the in-between guide.

Between Mandalay Bay and Excalibur

The Luxor pyramid's interior atrium is one of the most impressive spaces on the Strip — free to enter, the inclined elevators run inside the walls of the pyramid at 39° angles. The light beam from the apex is the strongest single beam of light on earth.

Between MGM Grand and Bellagio

The Park, an outdoor entertainment district between Park MGM and New York-New York, features public art installations, the Park Theater entrance, and T-Mobile Arena. The sculptural 'Bliss Dance' installation by Marco Cochrane is worth photographing. All free.

Between Bellagio and Caesars

The pedestrian bridge between Paris Hotel and Bally's gives an elevated view of the Bellagio fountains from the east. The entry walkway through the Paris Hotel lobby (with its fake Parisian sky ceiling) is one of the Strip's better free design experiences.

Between Venetian and Encore

The Sands Convention Center walkway connects the Venetian's north tower to the Palazzo and has a series of excellent temporary art installations. The exterior sculpture garden along the Venetian's east side is consistently maintained with serious contemporary works.
