The Best Celebrity Chef Restaurants in Las Vegas (And Which Ones to Skip)

Las Vegas has become the global home of celebrity chef dining. But not all celebrity names equal celebrity quality. Here's the honest guide.

Las Vegas is home to restaurants from Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, José Andrés, Joël Robuchon, Thomas Keller, Nobu Matsuhisa, and dozens of other celebrity chefs. The quality ranges from genuinely world-class to overpriced tourist traps bearing a famous name.

Worth Every Dollar

  • é by José Andrés at the Cosmopolitan — The chef's secret 8-seat tasting counter. The most exclusive restaurant in Las Vegas. Book 3 months ahead.
  • Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand — The most Michelin-starred restaurant in the US. Budget $250+/person.
  • Bouchon by Thomas Keller at the Venetian — Casual French bistro format, Keller quality.
  • CUT by Wolfgang Puck at the Palazzo — The best steakhouse on the Strip.

Good, Not Great

  • Gordon Ramsay restaurants — Multiple locations, decent quality, extremely busy. The Steak at Paris is the best of his Las Vegas outlets.
  • Nobu at Caesars Palace — The original celebrity Japanese restaurant. Good but expensive.
  • Guy Fieri venues — Triple D Network-inspired, fun atmosphere, not the dining experience the name might imply.

Overrated

Several celebrity restaurants are primarily licensing arrangements with limited chef involvement. Always check recent reviews rather than relying on the name — Las Vegas food quality changes with chef personnel more than most cities.

Confirm current hours, prices, access, age rules, and availability with the official venue before you go.
