How to Get Into Las Vegas Nightclubs Without Paying Cover

Vegas nightclub cover charges run $30–100 per person. Here are the legitimate methods locals use to get in for free — and the ones that don't actually work.

Las Vegas nightclub cover charges are primarily charged to men who show up without a plan. Women get in free routinely. Men can often get in free or at reduced cost with planning. Here's how.

The Guest List

Every major Las Vegas nightclub has a free guest list for women and often reduced-cost access for men in groups with women. Call the club directly — not through a third party — and ask to be added to the guest list. Provide names, group size, and arrival time. Show up before midnight, dress appropriately, and access is free.

The Hotel Guest Advantage

Staying at the hotel that houses the nightclub usually gives you access to that club's reduced entry or direct guest list. The Wynn concierge can get guests onto XS's list. The Cosmopolitan handles Marquee guest list. Ask when you check in.

What Doesn't Work

  • Arriving after midnight without a reservation on peak nights
  • Telling the doorman you're a 'VIP' without prearranged table service
  • Trying to talk your way in at Omnia or XS on a Friday/Saturday
  • Offering the doorman cash in an obvious way — the days of $20 working are mostly over at top clubs

Confirm current hours, prices, access, age rules, and availability with the official venue before you go.
