The 18b Arts District sits between Downtown and the Strip — a neighborhood of converted warehouses, independent galleries, the best murals in the American Southwest, and restaurants that the locals actually choose over the casino alternatives.

What's There

  • First Friday — Monthly art walk every first Friday of the month, 5–11pm. The best free cultural event in Las Vegas.
  • PublicUs café — The best brunch in Las Vegas, period.
  • Esther's Kitchen — James Beard nominated Italian-American. Reserve ahead.
  • The Black Sheep — Vietnamese-American fusion, consistently excellent.
  • Velveteen Rabbit — Best craft cocktails in Las Vegas.
  • Wall murals along Casino Center Blvd and Colorado Ave — Among the best street art collections in the West.

Getting There

The Arts District is approximately 1.5 miles south of the Fremont Street Experience — a short Uber ride or a 25-minute walk from Downtown. From the Strip, it's a $10 Uber. There's street parking for those with cars.
