Spring Mountain Road between Decatur and Jones is Las Vegas's Chinatown — a dense, unpretentious collection of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai restaurants that operate entirely outside the tourist economy. No celebrity names. No resort fees. Just excellent food.

Japanese

  • Monta Ramen — Consistently America's top ramen rankings. 18-hour tonkotsu broth. Open until 3am most nights.
  • Raku — The restaurant where Vegas chefs eat on their nights off. Japanese small plates of extraordinary quality. Reserve two weeks ahead.
  • Yui Edomae Sushi — Traditional Edomae-style. More interesting than any Strip sushi establishment.

Korean

  • Seoul Korean BBQ — Self-cook tabletop BBQ until 3am. The pork belly is transcendent.
  • Jang Guem Tofu & BBQ — Authentic Korean comfort food. The soft tofu stew is remarkable.
  • Honey Pig — Late-night Korean BBQ beloved by industry workers.

Thai and Vietnamese

  • Lotus of Siam — James Beard nominated, repeatedly voted one of America's top Thai restaurants. Northern Thai menu focus.
  • Pho Kim Long — Best pho in Las Vegas, open until 3am.
  • Phat Phở — Excellent banh mi and vermicelli bowls.
