Las Vegas's construction industry operates continuously — new hotels, new restaurants, new entertainment venues, and renovations of existing properties mean the city looks meaningfully different every 18–24 months. Here's what's notable in 2026.

Entertainment

  • MSG Sphere — Now in full residency and event programming mode. The 2025–2026 season represents the venue at its most mature content-wise.
  • Fontainebleau Las Vegas — The long-delayed tower finally opened. 67 stories, 3,800 rooms, multiple restaurants and clubs.
  • Las Vegas A's Ballpark at Las Vegas — The new MLB stadium in development represents the city's biggest sports facility investment since Allegiant.

Restaurants

The Las Vegas restaurant landscape in 2026 has continued to professionalize. Several independent chefs have opened off-Strip establishments in the Arts District and Spring Valley that rival Strip restaurant quality at significantly lower prices. Watch the Las Vegas food media (Las Vegas Weekly, Eater Las Vegas) for the most current openings.

Renovations

Harrah's Las Vegas completed its renovation into Horseshoe Las Vegas and has become the permanent home of the WSOP. The Tropicana's closure and replacement with a baseball stadium represents the end of one Las Vegas era and the beginning of another.
