4th of July weekend in Las Vegas rivals New Year's Eve for sheer scale of celebration. Hotels are at maximum capacity, the Strip is packed from noon to dawn, and the fireworks shows over the casino rooftops are a unique American spectacle.

The Fireworks

Multiple hotels fire simultaneous rooftop fireworks shows on July 4th — the Stratosphere, Caesars, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and several Downtown venues. The best viewing for multiple shows is from the pedestrian bridge at Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Road, or from a rooftop bar that has a view toward multiple Strip hotels.
