Las Vegas's two most prestigious dayclubs occupy the top of an extremely competitive market. Encore Beach Club at the Wynn and Drai's Beachclub at the Cromwell are both excellent — but they're excellent in very different ways. Here's the definitive comparison.
Music
Encore Beach Club books predominantly electronic music — house, techno, and progressive EDM from the world's top DJs. Drai's skews heavily toward hip-hop, R&B, and trap, with the city's strongest booking record in those genres. Pick based on your musical preference — this is the most important differentiator.
Views
Drai's wins. Built on the roof of the Cromwell Hotel directly on the Strip, Drai's has a 360-degree view that includes Caesars Palace, the Bellagio, and the Paris Hotel across the street. Encore Beach Club is behind the Wynn — the luxury setting is exceptional but there's no Strip view.
Production Quality
Encore wins on raw production quality. The main stage setup, sound system, and LED infrastructure at Encore Beach Club are the best of any dayclub in the world. The Wynn's budget and attention to detail shows in every element.
Cost
- Encore general admission: $40–$120 depending on headliner. Cabanas from $2,000.
- Drai's general admission: $30–$90 depending on headliner. Cabanas from $1,500.
- Drai's is consistently 10–20% cheaper across all categories.
