Las Vegas pool season's unofficial opening weekend is Memorial Day, and the city delivers. Every major dayclub has a full event slate, hotel pools are at capacity, and the energy is unlike any other weekend of the year.
The Big Three Dayclubs
- Encore Beach Club — The prestige option. Sells out first. Book the moment you read this.
- Drai's Beachclub at the Cromwell — Best Strip views, strong hip-hop/R&B lineup.
- Wet Republic at MGM Grand — Best value of the major dayclubs. Less pretentious, same quality.
Hotel Pools Worth Knowing
If you're staying at a major hotel, your hotel pool will be open but at capacity for guests. Mandalay Bay's wave pool is legitimately excellent and doesn't require a ticket. The Golden Nugget Downtown's pool (with shark tank) has no dayclub event but is excellent for a relaxed afternoon.
